The short version
Two values are stored whatever you decide: one remembers that you confirmed your age, the other remembers your answer to the cookie banner. Everything else — analytics, advertising measurement — stays switched off until you press Accept all, and stays off permanently if you press Essential only.
What we mean by cookie
The banner uses the word loosely, as most sites do, to cover both classic cookies and the local storage values a modern browser offers. Our own two values use local storage. That distinction matters in one practical way: local storage stays on your device and is not attached to the requests your browser sends us, so we never see it.
Essential storage
- obs_age_ok — set when you confirm you are 18 or over on the age check, so that the gate does not reappear on every page. Value is yes or no. It lives on your device until you wipe this site's storage.
- obs_consent — set when you answer the cookie banner. Value is granted or denied. Without it the banner would ask again on every single page view. It sits there until this site's storage is cleared.
Neither can be turned off: strip them out and the site forgets answers you have already given it. Neither holds a name, an email address, an identifier or anything that points at you as a person.
Analytics, only with consent
- Google Analytics 4 — cookies _ga and _ga_<id>. They count visits and sessions and show which parts of the page get read, which tells us whether the room descriptions and the casino section are doing their job. Usual lifetime two years.
Advertising measurement, only with consent
- Google Ads — cookies in the _gcl_ family. They tell us whether somebody who clicked one of our search advertisements went on to read the rooms or write to reception. Usual lifetime ninety days.
Both sets of tags run under Google Consent Mode v2. Before you answer the banner, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are all set to denied in the page head, which means the tags are loaded but write nothing and send no identifiers. Choosing Essential only leaves them in exactly that state for good.
Changing your mind
Use the link at the bottom of any page. The banner comes back, your new answer replaces the old one straight away, and consent mode is updated in the same moment. Clearing the site storage in your browser resets both the cookie answer and the age confirmation, so the age check will ask again.
Blocking storage in the browser
Every current browser can block or delete cookies and site storage for a single site, usually under Privacy or Site settings, and most offer a private window that discards everything when it closes. Blocking everything does not break these pages: the text, the rooms and the casino information all still work. The only cost is that the age check and the cookie banner will greet you on every visit, because the site has no way left to remember what you answered.
Things you will not find here
No pixels from social networks. No ad network beyond Google. No cross-site tracking, no device fingerprinting, no session recording, no heatmaps, no chat widget and no embedded video or map. The only resources loaded from outside our own server are the two Google Fonts the site is set in, and the Google tags described above once you have consented.
And because this is a land-based casino resort rather than an online one, there is no gambling software on these pages, no game client and no payment script. Nothing here needs to identify you.
